We are more than delighted to share this resent publication on Forest Bathing and Human-Nature Connectedness. SNFTI and 10 certified guides in our Guide Network, had the honour of contributing Forest Bathing sessions (guided Eco Forest Therapy) for this study.
The novelty of this investigation is in part the emphases on the connection between nature connectedness and sustainability . It not only surveyed the impact of forest bathing on perceived wellbeing, but to what degree participants experienced nature connection and its ’importance for the willingness to support and protect nature.
In SNFTI we feel strengthened in our conviction that serving as a Forest Bathing guide, indeed is an activism of sorts, and serves one of many important aspects of our global efforts to reconnect to and thus protect nature. We certainly protect what we love!
